Nirvanasoft Ltd is seeking a Lead Backend Engineer to architect and scale the core infrastructure behind Pulse16 — a secure platform focused on digital wellbeing and spending intelligence. This role is critical to designing highly available systems, enforcing encryption-first architecture, and building a robust API ecosystem capable of supporting millions of secure transactions

You will define the backend foundation that ensures performance, security, and regulatory compliance. Your architectural decisions will directly influence scalability, investor confidence, and enterprise readiness.

Key Responsibilities

• Architect scalable microservices-based backend systems
• Design and maintain high-availability PostgreSQL clusters
• Implement encryption at rest and in transit
• Lead secure authentication frameworks (OAuth2, JWT, MFA)
• Drive API design standards and system performance optimisation
• Own technical roadmap alignment with product strategy
• Mentor engineers and enforce engineering excellence

Requirements

• 8–12+ years backend experience
• Experience in fintech or high-security SaaS
• Strong distributed systems knowledge
• PostgreSQL + event-driven architecture experience
• Leadership and architecture ownership experience
